The oversight and administration of these lotteries fall under the Director of Nagaland State Lotteries, with draws conducted daily at P. R. Hill Junction in Kohima. For those fortunate enough to win, it’s essential to follow specific procedures to claim prizes. Winners must present a lottery claim form alongside their ticket, which must be in pristine condition. Additionally, a government-issued photo ID and passport-sized photographs are required. Tickets that show signs of tampering or damage will not be accepted.
Distributors are authorized to pay out prizes up to Rs 10,000 on behalf of the state government. Claims exceeding this amount must be submitted within 30 days of the draw to the Director or the relevant Nodal Office. Along with the claim forms, winners should submit the original signed ticket and any other necessary documentation to ensure payment is processed within 60 days.
