Join Us for the Historic Postal Dak Adalat in Madurai: Empowering Communication for a Brighter Future on October 6!
The Department of Posts is set to hold a regional-level Dak Adalat at the Postmaster General’s office in Madurai on October 6 at 11 a.m. This initiative aims to address grievances from postal customers, allowing them to voice their concerns and seek resolutions. Customers wishing to participate are encouraged to submit their complaints by September 19.
To facilitate this, complaints can be sent to the Assistant Director (CS & Inspn) at the Postmaster General’s office, in envelope covers labeled ‘Dak Adalat-September 2025.’ Alternatively, customers can also email their grievances to pg.madurai@indiapost.gov.in with “Dak Adalat” as the subject line. It is important to note that all complaints should be dispatched via ordinary, speed, or registered post. The Dak Adalat will only consider cases where customers were dissatisfied with prior responses from division-level offices; submissions must not involve fresh cases.
In addition to the regional-level meeting, a divisional-level Dak Adalat is scheduled for September 18 at the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices in Madurai. This session, commencing at 11 a.m., will also address customer complaints. Participants are advised to send their grievances to the Senior Superintendent by 6 p.m. on September 12. Similar to the regional meeting, complaints must be sent through ordinary or registered post, with ‘DAK ADALAT’ clearly marked on the envelope.
Both Dak Adalats represent the Department of Posts’ ongoing commitment to improving customer service and engaging with the public’s concerns. This approach aims to ensure that all postal grievances are heard and addressed in a timely manner, reflecting the department’s dedication to transparency and accountability.
