Priya Marathe, a beloved figure in Indian television known for her roles in popular shows like “Pavitra Rishta” and “Kasamh Se,” passed away at the age of 38 on Sunday after a prolonged battle with cancer. Marathe’s brother, actor Subodh Bhave, honored her legacy in an emotional Instagram tribute. “Priya was not only a great actress but also my cousin sister,” he wrote, reflecting on her dedication to her craft and spirit. Swati Anand, who portrayed Marathe’s on-screen mother in “Kasamh Se,” expressed her devastation over the news. Reflecting on Marathe’s growth as both an actress and individual, Anand stated, “She never lost courage in her fight against illness.
