Two acquaintances, Akash and Shiv Kumar, have been arrested following the murder of a man named Karn, who was allegedly killed over insults. The incident occurred late on the night of July 2-3, when the suspects entered the school premises, although the reasons for their break-in remain unclear.
During their time on the school grounds, police reported that Karn taunted the two men about their thin physiques, which incited one of them to attack him with a stone. The other suspect then used a pair of scissors to stab Karn. After the assault, they moved his body to the school’s washroom and fled the scene.
Initially, the body was difficult to identify due to decomposition. However, authorities later recovered the murder weapons-both the stone and the scissors-from the crime scene. A police official noted that they received a call about the situation on August 4, after a teacher had discovered blood stains.
Currently, both suspects are in police custody, with further details expected to be released after interrogations. The shocking nature of this case has raised serious concerns among local residents regarding safety and security in public institutions.
