President Droupadi Murmu begins a two-day visit to Odisha today, landing at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar this evening. Following her arrival, she will head to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, to attend its fifth convocation ceremony.
On the agenda for tomorrow, President Murmu will participate in the 13th annual convocation of Ravenshaw University. Additionally, she will lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of three buildings at Ravenshaw Girls’ High School in Cuttack. The President is also set to commemorate the birth anniversary of the esteemed poet Adikabi Sarala Das and will present the Kalinga Ratna Award for 2024 during the celebrations in Cuttack.
