Unveiling Delhi’s Secrets: Navigating Short-Term Relations Effectively
With Shivraj Singh Chouhan marking his first year at Krishi Bhawan, significant shifts have been observed within the Ministry of Agriculture’s public relations department. In the past year, there have been multiple changes in the officers from the Press Information Bureau (PIB) responsible for the ministry’s communications. At least three officials have been replaced, with a new officer taking charge just this Wednesday. This trend contrasts sharply with previous years when a single PIB officer would typically remain with the ministry for an extended period, ensuring continuity and consistency in media relations and official communications.
During a press briefing at the Congress office in New Delhi, media and publicity chairman Pawan Khera informed reporters that after addressing questions, general secretary (organization) K C Venugopal would deliver a statement, followed by lunch. Party leader Mallikarjun Kharge humorously inquired if lunch was also intended for him. Khera assured him, saying, “Yes sir, you are the chief guest.” Kharge light-heartedly noted to the amused audience that he was confirming because no one was at his residence.
