Aizawl: A sensitization program titled “Media Sensitization for YouTubers” took place at Lianchhiari Run, the I&PR Conference Hall, in Aizawl. The event was organized by the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (I&PR) and aimed to address ethical practices in media and content creation. The program is particularly significant given the rapid growth of the digital space and the influence of YouTubers in creating public discourse. The Mizo YouTubers Association, which was established in 2022 and has around 60 members, is a testament to the increasing importance of this medium in Mizoram. Such initiatives are crucial for promoting responsible content and protecting cultural identity among the YouTube community. The emphasis was placed on upholding ethical standards while embracing the potential of digital platforms.
