
ESIC Welcomes 1.63 Million New Members in March: A Thriving Community of Security and Support!
New Delhi: The Employees’ State Insurance Corp. (ESIC) announced a significant increase in membership, adding 1.63 million new members in March, according to the latest payroll data released by the Ministry of Law and Justice. This marks a notable rise from February’s total of 1.54 million new members. Among the new additions, approximately 796,000 were young employees aged 25 and under, highlighting a growing trend in youth engagement within formal employment.
The ESIC’s expansion did not stop with individual enrollments; the organization also welcomed 31,514 new establishments into its social security scheme in March.
