Amit Shah Praises Powerful BrahMos Strike: Pakistan’s China-Made Defenses Rendered Useless!
Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on Sunday that India’s indigenously developed BrahMos missiles successfully targeted significant Pakistani air bases during Operation Sindoor. This operation, according to Shah, represents a pivotal shift in India’s military strategy, marking a deep strike of up to 100 kilometers inside Pakistani territory, well beyond the surgical strikes previously conducted in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Speaking at an event in Ahmedabad, Shah emphasized the effectiveness of the BrahMos system, stating, “As our indigenously developed BrahMos worked to destroy Pakistan’s air bases, its air defense systems, borrowed from China, remained unused.” He outlined how the precision strikes inflicted extensive damage on areas previously considered fortified, demonstrating India’s military prowess.
Shah also argued that Operation Sindoor transcended mere military action, dismantling the narrative Pakistan has maintained on the global stage regarding terrorism. He noted, “Pakistan used to claim that no terrorist activity occurs on its soil and accused India of making baseless complaints. But with Operation Sindoor, the truth has emerged; terrorists were neutralized, and Pakistan’s complicity was exposed.” He pointed to Pakistani military officials attending the funerals of slain terrorists as evidence of a deep-rooted connection between the Pakistani Army and terrorism.
The Minister attributed India’s decisive military response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and resilience in the wake of the tragic Pahalgam terror attack that resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians, including a Nepalese national. “Narendrabhai’s strong political will, our army’s valor, precise intelligence, and powerful military capabilities led to the destruction of terrorist camps across nine locations in Pakistan,” Shah stated.
Reiterating Modi’s steadfast position, Shah declared that India would neither resume trade nor engage in talks with Pakistan until terrorism is completely eradicated. He reflected on the government’s stance post-Operation Sindoor, remarking, “PM Modi made it clear that the Indus River and blood cannot flow together. Without the elimination of terrorism, there will not even be a drop of water from the Indus.” He noted that while Modi is open to discussions with Pakistan, the focus would be on reclaiming PoK and confronting terrorism.
In concluding his remarks, Shah outlined the Modi government’s vision for India by 2047, the centennial year of its independence. He articulated an aspiration for India to emerge as a global leader, saying, “Over the past 11 years, PM Modi has laid a strong foundation for the nation’s development. Today, 140 crore Indians salute the valor of our armed forces, the efficiency of our intelligence agencies, and Narendra Modi’s firm political will.”
The remarks come as India continues to reinforce its military readiness and strategic capabilities in the region, raising questions about the future of India-Pakistan relations and the broader implications for security in South Asia.
