Acting on specific intelligence, law enforcement intercepted a suspicious consignment, leading to the detention of Manju Debnath and her sister-in-law Pushpa Debnath, both from Agartala, the capital of Tripura. Investigations indicated that the heroin was cleverly hidden within 55 soap cases and was being transported in a bag on a train, intended for delivery in Tripura.
