India’s Firm Stance Against Nuclear Threats: PM’s Strong Warning
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Monday, firmly asserting that India will not succumb to “nuclear blackmail.” He clarified that military operations against Pakistan remain on hold but are not entirely withdrawn. The future course of action will be contingent upon Pakistan’s behavior.
In his first speech after ‘Operation Sindoor,’ Modi revealed that Pakistan had requested a cessation of offensive operations. India, he noted, would only consider de-escalation if assurances were provided that such “misadventures” would not recur.
Modi described the recent terror attack in Pahalgam as the “most barbaric face of terrorism,” expressing deep personal distress over the incident. He emphasized, “The enemy now understands the consequences of attempting to wipe the sindoor from the foreheads of our women,” underscoring the emotional weight of the attack.
The Prime Minister highlighted that ‘Operation Sindoor’ showcased India’s capacity to transform intent into decisive action. “It wasn’t just a name,” he stated, reinforcing the significance of the military operation. He claimed that through this initiative, the world witnessed India’s unwavering determination, with over 100 notorious terrorists eliminated.
In closing, Modi delivered a strong message: “India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail. Our operations against Pakistan have been kept in abeyance—not called off. Going forward, their actions will determine our response. A new line has been drawn—Operation Sindoor is now India’s policy against terrorism.”
