In an official statement to Money Today, Won Bin’s representatives dismissed the informant’s credibility, asserting, “We don’t know if the informant is even a real person. I also don’t understand why the informant’s wife is thanking Won Bin. There is nothing related other than attending the funeral to mourn the deceased.” They emphasized that Won Bin has never visited New Jersey, where the informant lives, and reiterated that his only connection to the situation was out of respect for Kim Sae Ron.
