PM Modi Inaugurates New Terminal Building, Connects Ayodhya with the World
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Busy Day of Inaugurations and Layovers across North India
On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi kickstarted his day with the laying of the foundation stone of the new terminal building at Hisar airport, Haryana. The airport’s upgraded infrastructure aims to connect the region better with other parts of the country. Following the ceremony, he flagged off a flight to Ayodhya, a symbolic gesture ahead of the Ayodhya airport’s scheduled opening. The Prime Minister then addressed a public gathering in Hisar, highlighting the significance of this milestone.
Later in the day, Modi will visit Yamunanagar, where he will lay the foundation stone of various development projects. The highlight of the visit is the inauguration of a 800 MW modern thermal power unit at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant, a crucial step towards boosting power infrastructure in the region and achieving the vision of “electricity for all” – a core promise of the government. This move is expected to ensure energy reaches even the remotest areas, as enunciated in the GOBARDhan scheme, which focuses on rural electrification.
Modi will also lay the foundation stone of a Compressed Biogas Plant in Mukarabpur, Yamunanagar, a key component of the GOBARDhan scheme. This initiative will convert biodegradable waste into compressed biogas, providing a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. By leveraging new-age technology, the plant will contribute to a cleaner environment and support the government’s goals of increasing the use of renewable energy sources.
Another significant development project scheduled to be inaugurated today is the 14.4 km Rewari Bypass, worth approximately ₹1,070 crore under the Bharatmala Pariyojana. This project will ease the traffic congestion in Rewari city, reducing the travel time between Delhi and Narnaul by nearly an hour. The bypass is expected to have a direct bearing on the local economy, fostering social and economic activity in the region.
While addressing the public meetings, PM Modi is likely to underscore the significance of these projects in transforming the lives of common citizens. His speeches will likely emphasize the government’s commitment to developing the region’s infrastructure, providing better energy access, and promoting sustainable development. As the Prime Minister traverses the country, he will meet and interact with the locals, sharing the vision for a brighter future.
The government’s initiatives in Yamunanagar and Haryana are part of its efforts to accelerate regional development and connect the country’s citadels better. With the Prime Minister’s visit, citizens are expecting a significant boost to their living standards, enhanced connectivity, and improved access to essential services. As the nation continues to grapple with the challenges of rapid urbanization, Modi’s promises of sustainable development and inclusive growth are likely to resonate with the masses.
