Here’s a rewritten version of the article:

Seven Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested for Illegally Entering Tripura

In a major crackdown on illegal border crossing, the Tripura Police arrested seven Bangladeshi nationals in the Belonia area of South District on Saturday night. According to police officials, the individuals were caught while attempting to enter the state from Bangladesh through the Amjad Nagar area adjacent to Belonia city.

The operation was carried out by a team of Tripura police led by Belonia Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rishabh and Belonia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shibu Ranjan Dey, who received a secret tip-off about the illegal entry. The team stopped a Maruti car at the Naka Checking Point in the Manurmukh Tabla Chowmuhoni area and detained seven Bangladeshi nationals after conducting a thorough check.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Robin Hossain (29), Mohammad Rafi (25), Amjad Hossain (27), Shahidur Jjaman (28), Fazzal (24), Rehan Mollah (21), and Gias Uddin (35). During the initial interrogation, the police seized seven Android mobile phones, a keypad mobile, Indian currency worth Rs 1.64 lakh, and Bangladeshi Taka worth 1,01,935 from the accused.

During questioning, all seven admitted that they were from Bangladesh and claimed that one person had helped them cross the border in exchange for money. Following their arrest, the police registered a case against them and produced them in court, seeking a five-day police remand.

The police operation highlights the ongoing issue of illegal border crossing in the region, with several cases of Bangladeshi nationals entering Tripura and other northeastern states without proper documentation. The authorities are working to strengthen border security and prevent such incidents in the future.
