Shocking Noida Lamborghini Crash: Victim Alleges 300 kmph Speed, Driver Cites ‘Car Fault’ – Unveiling Initial Probe Findings

A dramatic accident involving a high-performance Lamborghini in Noida’s Sector 94 has left two construction workers injured, raising questions about speed and safety on urban roads. The collision occurred on Sunday when the luxury car, allegedly being driven at speeds nearing 300 km/h, collided with the workers on a footpath adjacent to an under-construction building. The driver, identified as Deepak from Ajmer, Rajasthan, has been taken into custody and is facing scrutiny from legal authorities.

The vehicle’s owner, Mridul Tiwari, a prominent YouTuber with a vast following of over 18 million subscribers, had put the car up for sale when the incident occurred. Deepak, a car dealer by profession, was reportedly test-driving the Pondicherry-registered Lamborghini to assess its condition for potential buyers. The driver claims that a fault in the car led to the accident, a point that is currently under investigation by local authorities.

Both injured laborers hail from Chhattisgarh and were immediately transported to a nearby hospital. According to medical reports, they sustained leg fractures but are fortunately in stable condition and out of immediate danger. From his hospital bed, one of the victims recounted the harrowing experience to Republic TV, repeatedly stressing that the car “was being driven at a speed of 300 kmph” and describing the forceful impact that hurled them into a nearby drain. Another survivor echoed these sentiments in an interview with news agency ANI, describing the driver’s behavior as reckless and lamenting their inability to evade the rapidly approaching vehicle.

Noida’s Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sumit Shukla, clarified details of the ongoing investigation in a statement shared with the Hindustan Times. As the probe unfolds, it remains unclear what role, if any, mechanical failure might have played in the crash alongside the alleged speeding.

The shocking nature of the accident, compounded by the staggering claim of the vehicle’s speed, underlines the importance of abiding by traffic laws and the potential dangers posed by high-performance vehicles in urban settings. As the investigation continues, authorities will likely explore various aspects, including potential mechanical flaws and driver accountability.

This incident has garnered significant attention, partly due to the high-profile ownership of the Lamborghini involved. As with similar cases, it serves as a stark reminder of the intricacies and inherent risks of test-driving high-speed vehicles in populated areas. The broader implications of incidents like these highlight ongoing challenges in balancing luxury car ownership and public safety, pushing for increased awareness and adherence to traffic norms.

Stay tuned for further updates as this case progresses, and as authorities work to dissect the events leading up to the crash. Ensuring road safety remains a shared responsibility, as stories such as these punctuate the ongoing dialogue on ensuring safer streets for all.
