A life-threatening threat was issued against a YouTuber in Jalandhar district’s Rasulpur village after an object resembling a grenade was hurled at his residence early Sunday morning. The object, which did not explode, is now being investigated by the Jalandhar Rural Police.
The drama began to unfold when Pakistan-based gangster Shahzad Bhatti, who claims to have ties to organized crime, released a video accusing the YouTuber, Rozer Sandhu, of using derogatory language against Islam. In the video, Bhatti threatened more attacks if Sandhu was not arrested. Furthermore, he mentioned two individuals in his first video – Zeeshan Akhtar, an accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case, and Happy Passia, a US-based gangster with alleged terrorist links.
In a second video, Bhatti released footage of two people outside Sandhu’s residence, sparking concerns about the safety of the YouTuber and his family. The Jalandhar Rural Police have initiated an investigation into the matter, with Senior Superintendent of Police Gurmeet Singh confirming receipt of the reports and personally visiting the location.
The investigation led to the discovery of the “grenade-like” object, which was carefully examined by a bomb disposal team to ensure it did not pose a threat. The police have since referred to the incident as “a deliberate attempt to create panic and harm” and are working tirelessly to identify and apprehend those responsible.
