Bareilly to Get a Unique Spiritual Marvel: Ramayana Vatika to Showcase 51-Foot-Tall Shri Ram Statue
The Bareilly Development Authority (BDA) is all set to create a remarkable cultural and spiritual marvel, Ramayana Vatika, a one-of-a-kind project that will transport visitors to the world of the epic Ramayana. The 13-acre park will feature a 51-foot-tall statue of Lord Shri Ram, surrounded by meticulously crafted sculptures, murals, and landscapes that will bring the ancient tale to life.
According to BDA Vice Chairman Manikandan A, the concept was designed to provide an immersive experience, allowing visitors to relive the key events of Lord Ram’s journey. State-of-the-art 3D sculptures and murals will recreate the famous locations of Lord Ram’s exile, including Kishkindha, Chitrakoot Van, Ashok Vatika, and Dronagiri Mountain. These 3D attractions will be so realistic that visitors will feel as if they are part of the action, surrounded by the characters and settings of the epic.
The Ramayana Vatika will also serve as a botanical treasure trove, featuring rare and sacred plants from across India, including the fragrant Sandalwood trees, the Parijat, Lotus, and Kevada flowers, and the legendary Sanjeevani herb, which is said to cure illnesses. The park’s natural and simple atmosphere will evoke a sense of spirituality, drawing connections between nature and the spiritual path trodden by Lord Ram during his 14-year exile.
