Karnataka Gang Rape: Three Women, One Man Attacked and Raped, One Man Killed in Mysterious Tungabhadra Canal Incident

According to the 29-year-old homestay owner, who has filed a complaint with the police, the three accused, who arrived at the scene on a bike, pretended to be in need of petrol and, when refused, resorted to violence. They allegedly attacked the group, pushed some into the canal, and committed the heinous act on the two women. The 40-year-old tourist from Odisha, who was also part of the group, was found dead in the canal the next day.

The police have launched a hunt for the accused, who have vanished, and claim to have identified them. Medical reports confirm the presence of sexual assault on the victims, who are currently receiving treatment in a hospital. The police are still investigating whether the victims were under the influence, as there were five people in the group.
