Breaking News: UP Board Exam 2025 Postponed in Prayagraj – Unveiling the Shocking Turn of Events!
Due to the influx of devotees attending the ongoing Mahakumbh, the Uttar Pradesh Board has decided to postpone the High School and Intermediate exams for Prayagraj scheduled for February 24. As per the announcement from Ashok Kumar, Joint Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Government’s Secondary Education Section, these exams will now take place on March 9.
For Class 10 students, the Elementary Hindi exam originally planned for the morning shift from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, and the healthcare exam set for the afternoon shift from 2 PM to 5:15 PM will now follow the same timetable on the new date. Intermediate students who were set to take the Military Science and Hindi exams, also originally planned for the respective first and second shifts, will similarly adhere to their initial timings on March 9.
According to Bhagwati Singh, Secretary of the UP Board, this adjustment in the examination schedule is exclusive to the Prayagraj district. In all other districts, High School and Intermediate examinations will proceed as initially scheduled. The exam period for these districts remains between February 24 and March 12.
A total of 2,02,349 students in Prayagraj are affected by this rescheduling, 92,961 of whom are High School candidates, while 1,09,388 are Intermediate students. They are assigned to 335 exam centers throughout the district.
This decision underscores the authorities’ response to the large number of pilgrims in the region, ensuring that students can participate in their exams without disruption. Although the change poses logistical challenges, it reflects the board’s commitment to accommodating the needs of students and the community during this significant cultural event.
