Unveiling UP Budget: A Transformative Vision Aligned with Sanatan Culture and PM’s Empowering 5T Mantra, Declares Adityanath
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the recent state Budget aligns with the ethos of ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah’ (happiness for all) and honors India’s Sanatan culture. In a press briefing following the Budget presentation in Lucknow, Adityanath highlighted the significance of the Budget, which coincides with the Amrit Mahotsav commemorating the Indian Constitution’s implementation and Uttar Pradesh’s establishment in January 1950.
The 2025-26 Budget aims to uplift youth, women, and farmers, reflecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on marginalized communities. Adityanath lauded the contributions of the “double-engine” government, under Modi’s leadership, in propelling Uttar Pradesh’s progress through the 5T framework: Trade, Tourism, Technology, Tradition, and Talent, effectively transforming the state’s workforce into a robust economic force.
Aligned with the vision of achieving a one-trillion-dollar economy, the Budget embeds a time-bound program, and Adityanath expresses confidence in meeting the set targets. Moreover, he paid homage to B.R. Ambedkar, the Constitution’s architect, during the presentation of the “crucial” Budget that maps out a 25-year developmental plan for the state.
A tribute to Ambedkar’s legacy, the Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial and Cultural Center is being established in Lucknow, serving as a vital institution to promote Ambedkar’s principles of uplifting the deprived, as enshrined in the Constitution. This center aims to foster Ambedkar’s ideology and offer a platform to instill constitutional values in Uttar Pradesh.
This Budget carries a vision for the future, promising sustainable growth for the state through strategic economic planning and the reinforcement of cultural values.
