PASIGHAT, 17 Feb: The state BJP organized a seminar on the Union Budget 2025-26 in East Siang district on Monday, drawing intellectuals, business leaders, influencers, and senior party members to discuss the budget’s key elements. State BJP President Kaling Moyong lauded the budget as “people-friendly,” emphasizing its focus on inclusive development and economic growth. He spotlighted its beneficial effects on Arunachal Pradesh and the nation, citing developmental initiatives under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu. Moyong asserted that the budget supports “all walks of life” rather than just serving BJP interests.
Retired IAF Group Captain Mohonto Pangging provided a detailed presentation on the budget, outlining its provisions and implications for crucial sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, and rural development. This was followed by an interactive session that enabled participants to engage directly with the speakers. Business professionals, intellectuals, and senior party members sought clarification on various aspects of the budget, gaining insight into how it could propel economic growth and benefit the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
The seminar saw attendance from notable members, including MLAs Alo Libang and Zingnu Namchoom, as well as state BJP Vice Presidents Tarh Tarak, Tagin Siga, and Yalem Taga Burang. The event also featured the participation of the party’s district in-charges, the PMC chief councillor, ZPMs, business community members, and party workers.
