The leaders announced an ambitious goal to boost bilateral trade to USD 500 billion by 2030. They underscored the importance of joint development, production, and technology transfer. Modi emphasized enhancing trade in oil and gas to ensure India’s energy security and discussed expanding cooperation in nuclear energy, particularly through small modular reactors.
