Exposing Betrayal: Former Tripura CM Biplab Deb’s Fiery Critique After BJP’s Triumphant Victory in Delhi
Former Tripura Chief Minister and current Lok Sabha MP, Biplab Kumar Deb, criticized former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, labeling him as a “Communist-minded” leader who practices politics based on falsehoods. Deb’s remarks came after he campaigned for BJP candidate Parvesh Verma in the elections for the New Delhi Assembly Constituency—a seat contested by AAP’s national convenor Kejriwal, who subsequently lost.
Deb attributed the BJP’s win to the influence and “blessings” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He recounted that even before his own active political career began in 2014, he had recognized Kejriwal’s tendencies as similar to the Communist Party of India (Marxist). Despite Kejriwal’s rise, Deb believed that the people of Delhi were initially unaware of this mindset. He took upon himself a personal vow to one day defeat Kejriwal, a goal he realized with the guidance of Home Minister Amit Shah and PM Modi during his campaign efforts in the constituency.
Deb also criticized the idea of having someone he described as a “fraud and cheater” leading the capital, asserting that Delhi is now free from corruption. He expressed confidence that under Modi’s leadership, a competent government will rise in Delhi, resulting in a “Viksit Delhi” or Developed Delhi. Deb affirmed that the truth prevails, referencing the 2014 Lok Sabha elections where he claimed that Congress’s false propaganda was rightly opposed by voters in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Delhi. He lauded PM Modi for his focus on development and welfare, stating that these efforts have significantly boosted the country’s economy.
The narrative highlights Deb’s confidence in BJP leadership to foster progress and integrity in governance, contrasting it with what he views as the deceptive politics of Arvind Kejriwal.
