Microsoft Paint has introduced a new Copilot AI button, streamlining access to its suite of AI tools for image creation and editing. The revamped Paint will feature a comprehensive Copilot menu, accessible through a newly added icon in the toolbar that expands into a dropdown menu. This update is available with Paint version 11.2412.271.0, part of the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview build for the Dev Channel.

The Copilot button consolidates existing AI features like CoCreator and Image Creator, along with Generative Fill and Remove Background, making them more accessible. Alongside these Paint enhancements, Microsoft is introducing the ability to locate cloud-stored photos using Windows Search, exclusively for Copilot+ PCs. This update also includes various bug fixes, aiming to improve overall system performance.

Currently, these features are exclusive to participants in the Windows Insider program, and it’s unclear when the broader public will have access.

Also, reports suggest that Microsoft may integrate DeepSeek R1 into Copilot+ PCs in future updates, although details remain sparse. Meanwhile, the tech world is abuzz with rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra potentially featuring an under-display selfie camera.
