Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is set to commence the admission process for its diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs starting February 1, with classes for the 2025-26 academic year scheduled to begin on August 1. Prospective students can apply for 46 master’s degrees, 40 PhD, and 34 undergraduate programs via the official websites, ipu.admissions.nic.in and ipu.ac.in.
To apply, candidates should first visit the university’s official site. Under the candidate activity board, they should opt for IPU Registration 2025, select new candidate registration, and use a pre-created user ID and password to fill out the application form, which includes entering personal and educational details and uploading necessary documents. The application fee is a one-time payment of Rs 2,500.
Eligibility criteria differ across programs, and candidates are encouraged to consult the information brochure upon release. While admission can also be secured through the CUET UG and PG for vacant seats, the majority of seats are filled via the CET. The university has planned 52 Common Entrance Tests (CETs) from April 26 to May 18. Online counseling for programs such as MBA, LLB, and LLM commences on May 1, followed by online and offline counseling for other programs starting June 2.
In addition to existing offerings, IPU introduces new courses, including MSc in Molecular Diagnostics and Microbiology, BPT, a 3-year LLB, PG programs in Applied Geoinformatics, and a PG Diploma in Radiological Physics.
