Nine-year-old Parvika Sharma, a sixth-grader from SFS School, has delivered an outstanding performance in the short film Puspita. Puspita, directed by Rajiv Dutta and produced by Lova Hazarika Cheerla under Aloha Creations, tells the compelling story of a young girl grappling with the pressures of Tulani Biya, a puberty ritual, while balancing education and personal challenges. The film underscores the protagonist’s resilience, supported by her parents, teachers, and elders, against societal hurdles.
Parvika’s transition from Jonai to international fame is remarkable.
