Manipur CM N Biren Singh’s Stirring Call for Unity and Peace: Building a Stronger India on Republic Day
During the Republic Day celebrations at the 1st Manipur Rifles Ground, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh emphasized the importance of peace and unity in Manipur as essential for a stronger India. He pointed out India’s growing influence, particularly mentioning its advancements in defense exports and space technology, foreseeing its emergence as the world’s third-largest economy.
Despite internal conflicts that arose on May 3 of the previous year, Singh reassured that developmental initiatives remain a priority. He expressed his gratitude towards legislators and officials for their support, allowing for sustained progress in Manipur. He emphasized that safeguarding the state is a collective duty, noting that a unified Manipur is crucial to building a strong India.
Additionally, Singh commended the discipline and commitment of the Assam-trained personnel from the 10th and 11th IRB, whose impressive drill performances were a highlight of the celebrations.
