Experience the Thrill: Unforgettable Paragliding Adventures in Morshing, Arunachal’s Scenic Sky!
Arunachal Pradesh MLA Tseten Chombay recently inaugurated the Arunachal Adventure Tour, marking the launch of paragliding activities in Morshing, West Kameng district. This event has put a spotlight on the region’s exquisite beauty and cultural richness, enhancing its appeal as a tourist destination.
The newly opened paragliding site is located above the historic Holy Lhagyala Monastery at an altitude of 2,750 meters, surpassing the famous Bir Billing site in Himachal Pradesh. Adventure enthusiasts are offered an exhilarating flight experience lasting 7 to 8 minutes, providing unique and breathtaking views of the region’s stunning landscapes.
MLA Chombay praised the efforts of Yeshi Dorjee Bapu, Chairman of the Arunachal Adventure Tour Morshing, along with his team members Lobsang Nima, Sangey Tenzin, and Sonam Gechen, for bringing this ambitious project to fruition. He also commended the skilled paragliding pilots and instructors, including Sangey Chatup from Darjeeling, Keshab Adikari, and Santosh Rai from Sikkim, for ensuring a safe and thrilling experience for visitors.
Prominent figures, including ZPM Tashi Wangchu, State Election Commissioner Rinchin Tashi Bapu, and Northeast India Tourism Federation VP Tsering Wange, attended the inaugural event. Additionally, international guests Mr. David and Ms. Eleanor Milligam from Australia graced the occasion, visiting Morshing to share their expertise and serve as guest teachers at Kunphen Residential School. MLA Chombay expressed his enthusiasm for their involvement and highlighted the region’s hospitality and global appeal.
Encouraging adventure enthusiasts to visit Morshing, Chombay remarked, “This initiative reflects the vibrant spirit of Arunachal Pradesh. I urge all enthusiasts to experience the thrill of paragliding and embrace the unparalleled warmth and hospitality of Morshing, Sanglem, and Domkho Village (MSD).”
