Following the successful celebration of Paush Purnima and Makar Sankranti, the Uttar Pradesh government has now turned its full attention to preparing for the Amrit Snan event on Mauni Amavasya, scheduled for the 29th of this month. To enhance the arrangements, Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and DGP Prashant Kumar conducted a visit to the Mahakumbh area in Prayagraj, where they led a high-level review meeting to assess and strategize preparations.
The Chief Secretary acknowledged the commendable efforts and facilities provided during the previous festivals but stressed the importance of further improvement to ensure a flawless experience. He instructed that all preparations be completed in a timely manner and directed that sector magistrates, police personnel, and officers from various departments maintain a strong presence across all sectors to ensure smooth operations.
During an evaluation of the festival site’s facilities, the Chief Secretary highlighted the crucial need for reliable telecom services during major bathing events, including the Amrit Snan. He assured attendees that the telecom infrastructure at the fairgrounds is robust, aiming to prevent any connectivity issues for devotees.
By focusing on seamless telecommunication and comprehensive coordination among officials, the Uttar Pradesh government seeks to enhance the experience for millions of attendees at the upcoming Amrit Snan. This proactive approach underscores the administration’s commitment to facilitating a safe and efficient environment for all pilgrims participating in these significant cultural and religious gatherings.
