The historic Ranghar in Sivasagar buzzed with activity as the Rangpur Fair unfolded under the auspices of The Ahom Youth Council, marking Pahela Magh with vibrant celebrations. This annual event revitalizes the rich cultural tapestry of the region, drawing visitors from across Assam to witness its festivities.
The fair commenced with traditional ceremonies, including the flag hoisting and Maidam Tarpan ritual, which set the stage for a day of cultural celebration.
