Telangana has finalized its voter list for all 119 assembly constituencies, with a total of 3 crore 35 lakh 12 thousand 53 registered electors, where women voters outnumber men. The state’s Chief Electoral Officer, C. Sudharshan Reddy, announced the figures, revealing that the state has more than 1 crore 68 lakh 67 thousand female electors, compared to over 1 crore 66 lakh 41 thousand male electors, and 2,800 transgender electors. The voter lists have been updated as of this month.
Hyderabad leads with the highest number of voters, totaling over 46 lakh 24 thousand, followed by Rangareddy with 36 lakh 62 thousand, and Medchal Malkajgiri with 29 lakh 49 thousand electors. There are also over 5 lakh 45 thousand young voters aged 18-19 and more than 2 lakh 22 thousand senior voters aged over 85. Additionally, the state recorded an enrollment of over 3,500 overseas NRI voters.
