Heart-Stopping Plunge: 4 Injured as Car Plummets into Lower Dibang Valley Gorge in Arunachal Pradesh
Four members of a family from Dibrugarh, Assam, were injured when their car skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Dibang Valley district, Arunachal Pradesh. The incident took place as they were returning from a holiday trip to Anini on January 1. The vehicle, a Ford EcoSport with the registration number AS 01BF 0234, veered off course, injuring Hiten Buragohain (81), Bedabratta Buragohain (45), Promila Buragohain (41), and Jaslin Buragohain (13).
The family was part of a larger group of eight individuals who set out on a holiday trip. Fortunately, swift rescue efforts were made by local police and personnel from the Border Roads Organization (BRO) and General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), who managed to bring the injured to safety. The victims have since been transported to Dibrugarh for advanced medical care.
Authorities have commenced an investigation into the cause of the accident, ensuring that the family receives necessary support during this challenging time.
