Shocking Discovery: Beloved Nurse Found Unconscious on Nagaon Road; Urgent Investigation Launched
GUWAHATI: A nurse, Akhima Khatun, was discovered unconscious under mysterious circumstances along a roadside in Batadrawa, Nagaon district, on December 22. She is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Nagaon Metro Hospital, where she also works. The incident came to light through a delayed report, raising concerns about her condition.
Akhima was found near Bhomoraguri with multiple injuries and fractures. Upon discovering her, police promptly transported her to the hospital. According to Nagaon Superintendent of Police, Swapnaneel Deka, Akhima had gone to a food joint to eat chow mein shortly after leaving work. She was later located unconscious close to her residence.
The case is actively under investigation, with a male suspect being identified, though no arrests have been made at this stage. The police have recorded Akhima’s statement and are pursuing all leads to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident. The mysterious discovery has sparked concern among locals, as they await further developments in the case.
