The event, marking seven and a half decades of the union’s contribution to education and community development, commenced on December 18 and will continue through to December 20.
Addressing the gathering on the second day of celebrations, Nagaland’s Minister for Rural Development & SIRD, Metsubo Jamir, emphasized the practical application of education. He extended his appreciation to the AST and its pioneers for their enduring legacy and contribution to student welfare. In recognition of their efforts, Jamir announced funding for the redevelopment of the village’s old football ground and the sponsorship of free coaching classes for local students.
