Unleash the Adventure: JK Tyre Orange 4×4 Fury’s Thrilling 8th Edition Takes Arunachal by Storm
The 8th edition of the JK Tyre Orange 4×4 Fury kicked off today, drawing motorsport enthusiasts to the challenging terrains of Arunachal Pradesh. Originating from the Golden Pagoda Complex in Namsai District, the event was inaugurated by Shri Chowna Mein, Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, alongside Mr. Hari Singh of JK Tyre Motorsport.
Part of the annual Orange Festival of Adventure and Music, the event marries motorsport prowess with the natural allure of Arunachal Pradesh. Over the course of three days, 25 teams from across India will navigate the demanding tropical landscape, testing their determination, skill, and vehicle performance. Among the top contenders are defending champions Team MOCCA from Arunachal Pradesh and famed off-roading veteran Chethan Chengappa with co-driver Sanoj S.
Evolving into a flagship motorsport spectacle, the event attracts participants and tourists alike. Shri Chowna Mein expressed ambitions to elevate the festival to an international status in the coming year, aiming to highlight both the competition and the cultural and scenic rich tapestry of Arunachal Pradesh.
Since its inception, JK Tyre has been integral to this event, significantly contributing to promoting adventure tourism in the region. Partnering with the Arunachal Pradesh government, the collaboration has bolstered local development and positioned Dambuk as a center for motorsport and adventure.
Mr. Sanjay Sharma of JK Tyre emphasized the company’s dedication to fostering motorsport in the North-East. He remarked, “The 8th edition is more than a competition; it’s a celebration of human endurance and adventure, set against the backdrop of Arunachal’s breathtaking wilderness.”
Combining motorsport with cultural experiences and live performances by global artists, the festival continues to draw a growing audience each year, making it a significant event on the adventure and motorsport calendar.
