BJP Leadership Meeting Focuses on Strengthening Party Organization in Sikkim
In Gangtok, BJP’s Northeast States co-coordinator, V. Muraleedharan, conducted a significant meeting with key BJP leaders from Sikkim at the party’s city office. The gathering, held as part of preparations for the Sangathan Parv 2024, was attended by State BJP president D.R. Thapa, State Returning Officer Narendra Subba, general secretaries, and other prominent state and district-level dignitaries.
The primary agenda for the meeting was to evaluate the progress of the Sadasyta Abhiyan and Sangathan Parv initiatives. Muraleedharan highlighted the critical role a strong organization plays in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat. Offering strategic insights, he urged party karyakartas to fortify the party’s structure in Sikkim.
D.R. Thapa called on attendees to focus on the party’s organizational growth and to facilitate the delivery of various central schemes to the public. He specifically emphasized implementing the Ayushman Bharat program for senior citizens, recently launched by the Narendra Modi-led Central government, ensuring its benefits reach eligible beneficiaries.
Additionally, N.K. Subba presented a comprehensive report on the current status of the Sangathan Parv in the region.
Before the meeting, V. Muraleedharan, along with state BJP leaders, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Om Prakash Mathur at the Raj Bhavan. Muraleedharan, who previously served as India’s Minister of State for External Affairs, is on a three-day organizational journey in Sikkim, focusing on strengthening the party’s presence and effectiveness.
This strategic gathering underscores the BJP’s commitment to strengthening its grassroots support and ensuring effective implementation of central government initiatives across Sikkim.
