Revolutionary Online Coaching for Karnataka’s PU Students: Unlock Your Future with Passionate Guidance!
The Karnataka government has launched a free online coaching program for 25,000 pre-university students from government and aided colleges to prepare for entrance exams like CET, NEET, and JEE. This initiative, run by Mumbai-based PACE IIT.Medical, aims to ease access to professional courses like engineering and medicine. Students will receive unique login credentials for online classes and study materials, which will be held beyond regular college hours. An entrance test determined the selection of participants, with classes tailored separately for I PU and II PU students. Regular evaluations will be conducted, and student inquiries will be clarified by experts weekly.
Despite positive reception, some students expressed concerns over limited availability, urging the government to expand the program. Minister for School Education and Literacy, Madhu Bangarappa, who inaugurated the scheme, promised to broaden its reach to accommodate 1 lakh students in the next budget. The classes will be bilingual, in Kannada and English, taught by locally recruited teachers. The initiative is part of a state budget initially set at ₹12 crore but finalized at ₹8 crore.
