Transformative Impact: Arunachal MLA Ering Empowers Youth with Life-Changing E-Rickshaws
Pasighat: In a bid to tackle unemployment, Arunachal Pradesh MLA and Hydropower Adviser Ninong Ering inaugurated an E-rickshaw scheme for unemployed youth in Ruksin. This initiative, launched on Monday, aims to create self-employment opportunities within the constituency. During a ceremony at the ADC’s office, eight beneficiaries received their E-rickshaws.
Ering underscored the significance of facilitating self-employment and urged fellow MLAs to adopt similar measures. He also stressed the necessity for improved road infrastructure, education, and healthcare in the region. He highlighted that this scheme is a pilot project designed to evaluate the demand for E-rickshaws and expressed plans to extend the initiative to cover all rural areas in the subdivision.
The MLA appealed to PRI leaders to champion community welfare and inspire youth towards entrepreneurship. ADC Kiran Ningo emphasized the importance of maintaining the E-rickshaws and lauded Ering’s commitment to public service, urging locals to collaborate with him.
Additionally, ZPMs Aruni Jamoh and Anung Gammeng, along with CDPO Onyok Panyang, addressed the event, encouraging the recipients to leverage the E-rickshaws to enhance their household income. This initiative represents a proactive step toward economic empowerment and reflects Ering’s dedication to fostering the region’s development.
