Disney is set to launch its first cruise in Asia, with bookings opening on December 10, 2024. A year later, the Disney Adventure will embark on its maiden voyage from Singapore in December 2025. Pricing for a three-night cruise for two adults starts at $958, with rates for four- and five-night cruises beginning at $1,318 and $2,694, respectively. Opting for an ocean-view room increases the rate to $1,318, while a private verandah room costs $1,438. The top-tier “Concierge” stateroom is priced at $3,298 for two adults. Rates for children or additional adults sharing a room are notably lower.
A four-night ocean-view room for a family of four costs approximately $2,876, according to Disney’s website. Special themed suites inspired by the “Frozen” films, featuring lavish amenities, are also available though their prices remain undisclosed. Guests wanting to experience the inaugural cruise will face higher costs, around $780 per person for the three-night trip.
The cruise includes meals, live shows, and Disney character interactions, with extras like alcohol, internet, and premium dining available at an additional charge. The Disney Adventure can accommodate 6,700 passengers and features seven themed areas drawing inspiration from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel films. Among them, attractions such as the Imagination Garden, Toy Story Place, and Marvel Landing promise unique experiences, with Marvel Landing hosting the Ironcycle Test Run, Disney’s first rollercoaster at sea.
Disney Cruise Line will operate from Singapore for at least five years under a partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board. Sarah Fox, Disney Cruise Line’s VP and regional manager, highlighted the strategic importance of Southeast Asia, emphasizing the potential to attract tourists from China, Indonesia, and India, underscoring the region’s dynamic appeal for the cruise line’s expansion.
