These initiatives, backed by international funding, focus on empowering adolescents and providing high-quality early interventions.
The state has also streamlined healthcare delivery through the creation of the State Health Mission and State Health Society, bolstering health program execution. Efforts to enhance clinical support include training doctors in rural areas through Tamil Nadu partnerships.
Meghalayan Medical Drugs and Services Limited (MMDSL) ensures an efficient drug supply chain across the state, backed by a robust procurement process and a fresh essential drugs list. This initiative has helped reduce medicine costs by 40%, enhancing healthcare accessibility.
