Exciting Transformation: Mangaluru – CSMT Superfast Express to Upgrade with Luxurious LHB Coaches by March 2025!

The Central Railway has announced an upgrade for the Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Mangaluru Junction Superfast Express, substituting its traditional rake with modern LHB (Linke-Hofmann Busch) coaches in March 2025. Per the notification, Train No. 12133 will adopt the new LHB coaches starting March 1, followed by Train No. 12134 on March 2. Currently, the trains comprise 17 conventional coaches including luggage-cum-brake vans, general second class, 2-tier and 3-tier AC, and sleeper class coaches. The new LHB configuration will streamline this to 16 coaches, featuring enhanced AC and sleeper accommodations. This transition promises a more efficient and comfortable travel experience for passengers.
