The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Mizoram is seeking applications from qualified candidates to fill thirteen non-teaching roles on a regular basis. The available positions include:
1. Superintendent Group ‘B’ (1 position) – Requires a First Class Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks, along with computer application skills.
2. Junior Engineer Group ‘B’ (2 positions) – Requires a First Class B.E./B.Tech. in Civil/Electrical Engineering or a First Class Diploma with an excellent academic record.
3. Technical Assistant Group ‘B’ (2 positions) – Candidates must have a First Class or equivalent in B.E./B.Tech./MCA, a First Class Diploma in Engineering, a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science, or a Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant field.
4. Technician Group ‘C’ (5 positions) – Options include Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science and high marks, completed ITI courses, or a three-year Diploma in Engineering.
5. Junior Assistant Group ‘C’ (2 positions) – Requires a Senior Secondary qualification with a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in computer applications.
6. Office Attendant Group ‘C’ (1 position) – Requires a Senior secondary (10+2) qualification.
Applicants should download the application form from the NIT Mizoram website, fill it, and submit a soft copy along with self-attested supporting documents to the Registrar In-Charge at [email protected] by November 27, 2024. An application fee of Rs. 500 for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates applies, with exemptions for women and PWD candidates. Fees must be paid online, and payment receipts must accompany the application.
