Annu Dhankar, 19, was apprehended by Delhi Police’s Special Cell at the India-Nepal border while attempting to escape. She is a central suspect in the murder of a gang member that occurred in June at a Burger King outlet in Rajouri Garden. The investigation unveiled that Dhankar had befriended the victim via social media, convincing him to visit the location where members of the Himanshu Bhau gang subsequently shot him. Authorities had lost track of Dhankar’s whereabouts after she was last spotted at Katra Railway Station on June 19. However, on October 24, acting on a crucial tip-off, police traced her to the Indo-Nepal border, specifically near Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh, where a team was promptly dispatched to arrest her.
