Breaking: Supreme Court’s Powerful Verdict Brings Relief in Sushant Singh Rajput Case as CBI’s Lookout Notice Against Rhea Chakraborty is Quashed
The Supreme Court has dismissed Maharashtra’s appeal against the Bombay High Court’s decision to quash lookout circulars for actress Rhea Chakraborty and her family, issued by the CBI in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, ANI reported. Rhea, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in 2020 concerning a drug probe linked to the case, recently shared her harrowing jail experience. Speaking on Karishma Mehta’s podcast, she described her initial weeks in prison as deeply challenging, marked by depression and negativity, contrasting sharply with her typically optimistic nature.
The CBI’s lookout notices followed the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14, 2020. His passing spurred investigations by both Mumbai and Bihar Police after a complaint from his father. Rhea Chakraborty, who made her film debut with the Telugu movie “Tuneega Tuneega,” recounted that each day in jail felt elongated, filled with an overwhelming sense of darkness.
Sushant Singh Rajput, at 34, was a beloved actor who began his career in television with shows like “Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil” and became a household name with “Pavitra Rishta.” He successfully transitioned to films, earning acclaim in “Kai Po Che,” “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story”—his biggest hit, “Shuddh Desi Romance,” “Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!,” “Chhichhore,” and “Dil Bechara.” His final film, “Dil Bechara,” was released on OTT and is an adaptation of “The Fault in Our Stars.”
Fans continue to demand justice for Sushant, commemorating him on his death anniversary. His sister also emphasized the need for truth regarding his untimely demise.
