PM Modi Lauds ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Listeners as True Anchors in Heartfelt Tribute Ahead of 10-Year Milestone
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular radio show, Mann Ki Baat, nears its 10-year anniversary on October 3, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the listeners, calling them the "true anchors" of the program.
In the 114th episode aired on Sunday, PM Modi highlighted the indispensable role of the audience. "The listeners of Mann Ki Baat are the real anchors of this program," he said. He also reflected on the show’s defiance of the common belief that non-sensational content struggles to gain traction. "Mann Ki Baat has shown how eager people are for positive stories, inspiring examples, and motivating tales. The country craves such uplifting narratives," he noted.
Reflecting on the decade-long journey, Modi described it as a collection of inspiring sagas woven together. “The ten-year voyage of Mann Ki Baat has woven a garland, with each episode adding new sagas, new records, and highlighting inspiring individuals. The collective efforts in society find recognition through Mann Ki Baat,” he stated.
The Prime Minister also used the platform to encourage citizens to support the Swachh Bharat Mission by participating in cleanliness drives to make a tangible difference.
Additionally, Sunil Chhetri has become the all-time leading goalscorer in the Indian Super League.
