Outrage Ignites as Teacher Absenteeism Worsens in Dhubri Government School: Parents Demand Change
In Dhubri, Assam, serious allegations have surfaced against Biswajyoti Das, an assistant teacher at 2448 No. Borbila Part-II LP School, who has reportedly been absent from school for significant periods. This misconduct has severely impacted the students’ education and has angered both parents and community members, especially since multiple complaints to higher authorities have yielded no concrete action.
According to sources, Das has frequently been absent, leaving students without adequate instruction or reliant on substitute teachers. This recurring issue has frustrated parents who claim their children’s education is suffering due to Das’s habitual absenteeism.
Afazuddin Prodhani, the headmaster of the school, expressed his concerns, stating, “Our children’s future is at stake. The teacher’s repeated absence is affecting their learning, and despite raising our concerns with the school administration and local education authorities, nothing has changed.”
This is not the first time complaints against Das have been filed. The headmaster reportedly lodged several formal grievances with the district’s education department, but no action has been taken. This perceived inaction has only fueled public dissatisfaction.
The issue has now garnered widespread attention within the local community. Some have even alleged that officials are protecting Das, questioning whether political connections or bureaucratic indifference are at play. With public outcry reaching new heights, there are growing demands for a thorough investigation.
