Palak Sindhwani SLAMS Legal Notice Rumors from TMKOC Makers – Emotional Plea to Stop Affecting Her Mental Health
Palak Sindhwani, best known for her role as Sonu Bhide in the popular Indian TV show “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah” (TMKOC), has recently been at the center of controversy due to circulating rumours. On September 14, reports emerged suggesting that Sindhwani had allegedly violated her contract with the show’s production team, leading to the possibility of a legal notice. These allegations quickly spread across entertainment news portals, igniting widespread speculation about her future on the show.
In response to these claims, Sindhwani has adamantly denied receiving any legal notice from the TMKOC makers. She opened up about the toll that these false rumours have taken on her mental health, especially during the hectic shooting schedules. Speaking to Moneycontrol, the actress clarified, “I haven’t breached any contract and have not received any legal notice. I informed Asit sir (producer) about the false news that’s been spreading and told him it’s affecting my mental health while I’m shooting back-to-back for our show TMKOC’s Ganapati sequence.”
Sindhwani elaborated on how the unfounded reports have added unnecessary stress to her life, particularly given her demanding work schedule. She mentioned that she has asked the producer to investigate these rumours to clear up any misunderstandings. “It’s stressful indeed but the truth will come out. I want to speak about this further, but first want to speak to the producer or his legal team,” she added.
The initial reports of the alleged contract breach appeared in the Times of India, hinting at potential legal consequences for Sindhwani from the TMKOC team. However, the actress has debunked these claims, even sharing photos from the set to prove her ongoing participation in the show’s shooting, including an early morning shoot on September 15.
In a related note, Sharad Sankla, who plays Abdul in TMKOC, also recently quashed rumours about his exit from the show, stating that his absence is part of the storyline.
