Breaking News: CDSL Triumphantly Appoints Visionary Leader Nehal Vora as New MD & CEO

Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) has announced the appointment of Nehal Vora as its new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a five-year term beginning on September 18, 2024. Vora, who has over 25 years of experience in the Indian capital markets, previously held key positions at BSE, DSP Merrill Lynch, and SEBI before joining CDSL in September 2019.
CDSL, India’s leading and only listed depository, provides secure, reliable, and affordable depository services to market participants, maintaining over 11.56 crore demat accounts across the country.
In financial performance, CDSL posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 129.25 crore in Q4 FY24, a significant increase from Rs 63.12 crore reported in Q4 FY23. Revenue from operations also surged by 92.99% to Rs 240.78 crore in Q4 FY24.
The CDSL stock rose slightly by 0.25%, closing at Rs 1,381.75 on Friday, September 13, 2024.
