Agartala: High-Profile Inauguration of Siddheshwari Temple on September 16
Agartala: The Siddheshwari Temple at Sri Sri Shantikali Seva Ashram in Barakanthal, Hejamara Block, West Tripura, is slated to be inaugurated on September 16 by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Tripura Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced the event on Friday, which will also feature the foundation stone laying for a new Vedic school.
A preparatory meeting held at the Siddheshwari Seva Mission boarding house aimed to ensure the event’s success and was attended by Minister of State for Industries and Commerce Brishketu Debbarma alongside other senior Tripura officials. In addition to the chief ministers of Uttar Pradesh and Assam, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha will participate as a special guest.
The event will also see the presence of notable figures such as Tipra Motha founder Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, Vishwa Hindu Parishad Central Co-Organization Secretary Vinayak Rao Deshpande, and Maharaja Chittaranjan Debbarma.
Tourism Minister Chowdhury called for the cooperation of various departments and the public to ensure the event’s success.
