Outrage Erupts: Haryana Govt Accused of Complicity in 19-Year-Old Aryan’s Tragic Murder, Alleges AAP’s Sanjay Singh
AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP on Wednesday for their silence regarding the murder of a 19-year-old student in Faridabad by suspected cow vigilantes. Singh accused the BJP’s state government of sponsoring such violence and protecting the accused. Highlighting the issue of cow vigilantism, Singh cited the murder of Aryan Mishra in Haryana’s Palwal on August 24, with five arrests made by Haryana police.
Singh also noted that over the past decade, 49 violent incidents in the name of cow protection resulted in 55 deaths and 94 injuries, alleging BJP’s tacit approval of these acts. He questioned the legitimacy of those assuming the role of ‘gau rakshaks’ (cow protectors) and the responsibility they claim to protect cows and Hinduism. Referring to another recent incident involving the murder of a migrant worker from West Bengal in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri, Singh asserted that BJP’s members harbor hatred, further undermining their ability to contribute positively to the country.
